PMC ANNOUNCES ONLINE ADMISSION 2020 FOR PRIVATE MEDICAL AND DENTAL COLLEGES#
Pakistan Medical Commission PMC has announced the online admissions for Private Medical Colleges of the country. Applications can be submitted through PMC's National Admission System 2020. The portal will be accessible through Pakistan Medical Commission's website at: pmc.gov.pk
National Admission System is accessible at https://pmc.almusnet.com/#!/auth/signin The portal shall remain open from 19 December 2020 till 8th January 2021. Only applications submitted online through the portal will be entertained for admissions. No submission of applications by mail or in-person will be accepted....
PMC Eligibility Criteria 2020#
- Minimum 65%or above in f·5c/H5SC or A levels equivalent IBCC certificate..
- 60% or above in MDCAT or SAT II(SAT ll for foreign students only)..
- In the case of SAT II,60% or above in each subject..
Note#
If you do not meet the eligibility requirements, you will not be able to submit your application. Admission of a Foreign Student shall be strictly on the basis of merit and no exception or special quota shall be created for Foreign Students...
In order to qualify for admission for the 2021 Session ONLY, SAT II results can be used instead of the MDCAT by students who have completed their HSSC programs/12 years of high school education from outside Pakistan. Less than 480 in any SAT II subject would make the applicant ineligible for admission...

PMC Aggregate For Admissions 2020#
- F·Sc/ A-levels IBCC Equivalence certificate:30%..
- MDCAT/SAT-II: 50%..
- Interview: 20 %( to be conducted by the college)..
At the end of the application process, Merit will be generated out of 80% as prescribed above. The remaining 20% will be decided by the colleges as part of the interview. The college shall add the score of the interview and consolidate it with the MOCAT/ F.Sc. based Merit aggregate of the student issued by PMC. The college shall finalize the total aggregate out of 100% for the final merit of the students...

SAT-II Weightage for PMC Merit Formula#
Weightage of different subject results in SAT II would be taken into considerations as follows:
- Biology:40%
- Chemistry:35%
- Physics/Maths:25%
Due to the COV D· 9 pandemic, SAT-I has not been conducted universally in 2020.Therefore, English shall be an exempted subject to those students who have completed their HSSC/High School program from an institution/country where the medium of teaching is English.
